After several launch delays already this year, the Mini Countryman is set to be delayed again. Yet it seems that this is not because the Mini is yet to be completed but that the big wigs in the Mini and BMW world are not happy to launch a new car in such a fragile economic climate.

While things do seem to be improving on the economic front the parent company of Mini, BMW, are still contemplating delaying the Countryman’s launch. Reports suggest that the U.S. launch could now be delayed until 2011.
There will be a 1.6 litre petrol engine and a 2.0 litre diesel BMW engine. There will also be 2 John Cooper Works special edition versions of the Countryman. One will feature pretty much the same technology of the R56 JCW however the second will be an all-wheel drive with reduced weight and a hotter JCW engine.

Aww, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too - taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
