Mini Takes The States
Sunday, August 22nd, 2010For Mini fans, it’s got to be the greatest road trip in the world – Mini Takes The States. Thousands of them spent last week rallying across the USA, heading for Denver, and enjoying more than a few Mini adventures on the way.
Launch parties were held in five cities – New York, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Then Mini owners and enthusiasts joined the rally as it headed towards Denver for a grand festival weekend from August 13th to 15th.
Over the week, Minis covered 8,000 miles through 19 states and the most awesome landscapes, from classic Western red rocks to gleaming salt flats. Thousands of participants caught an early sight of the new Mini Countryman, and also had the chance to compete driving Minis on an autocross track.
